AFTER TWO LONG YEARS, THE SECOND SEASON OF the popular Japanese science fiction survival drama Alice in Borderland has finally been released on Netflix.
Adapted from the manga series of the same name, Alice in Borderland on Netflix follows Arisu as he unexpectedly finds himself in a Tokyo where most people have vanished. He has no understanding what happened, but he must participate in the enigmatic contests in order to get “visas” that will save him from execution. He meets Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya), a rock climber who joins Arisu in trying to figure out what is going on, along the route.

The official trailer for Alice in Borderland Season 2 was released by Netflix on December 3, and there is a lot to digest. The first thing we see is a shirtless dude confronting Arisu and his companions in what appears to be a gaming arena. What’s your name, guys? Asks Arisu. “Us? We are native to this country “Answering is the Shirtless Dude. Although we have no idea what it implies, it appears that this person will play a significant role in Season 2 of Alice in Borderland based on the new character stills that Netflix recently published.

Together with Tao Tsuchiya as Usagi and Nijiro Murakami as Chishiya, Aya Asahina as Kuina, Akaya Miyoshi as Ann, Dori Sakurada as Niragi, and Sho Aoyagi as Aguni, Kento Yamazaki, who plays the series’ protagonist Arisu, return. As the evil gamemaster Mira, popularly known as the Queen of Hearts, Risa Naka will make another appearance.
