The following is the first official trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which was released on December 13, 2022:
Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Woman, and Spider-Punk are just a few of the new Spider-Man variations that we see in the movie. Surprisingly, the trailer appears to depict these different Spideys fighting Miles Morales, with Gwen Stacy remarking that “we’re meant to be the good ones,” suggesting that these different Spideys may perceive Miles as a threat in some way.

On June 2, 2023, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is scheduled for release.
Expect it will only be available in theatres, so don’t look for it any time soon on Netflix, Disney+, or another streaming service.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-first Verse’s official synopsis was made public by Sony along with the confirmation of the sequel’s name:
“Miles Morales returns for an epic adventure that will transport Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man across the Multiverse to join forces with Gwen Stacy and a new team of Spider-People to face off with a villain more powerful than anything they have ever encountered.”
However, as the sequel has been confirmed to be a two-part event, we do know that the entire tale won’t be told in that instalment. Regarding the choice to divide the plot into two films, Lord and Miller stated to EW in December 2021 that “Miles’ story is an epic.”
“We wrote what we thought the story needed to be, and to our surprise we realized it was two movies instead of one. We’re working on them both as we speak.”
